First of all,

In most religions, each prophet as well as those after the prophet encourages humans to think about nature and reach an understanding of self. In Abrahamic religions, especially Islam -The Holy Quran- encourage humans to think and deny illogical traditions and false beliefs.

Understanding the truth from the East to the West during centuries and aeons from thoughts and inspirations or even revelations, regardless of whether we call it Tao, Logos, Wisdom or else; is one of the primary goals of religion and the holy books, especially Quran have emphasized this specifically and miraculously.

Each human is born of divine ingenuity and carries a word of the maker!

Based on religious teachings; unless we think and act intellectually, our actions are devoid of any value even if they lead to positive outcomes. Intellect holds one of the holiest places in religions, even though it can lead to being led astray by some subversive and fabricated religions.
Perfibo highly values religion and true religious content. Upon first encountering Fibonacci’s sequence, the author was reminded of a verse from the Quran which Perfibo would like to share with the audience.
Fibonacci looked around and inspected the world. He was fascinated by numbers and patterns. He posed a question one day. This was the problem; suppose we have a pair of rabbits, one male and one female. Each rabbit reaches maturity within one month, and their pregnancy also lasts for a month. Each rabbit becomes pregnant immediately after reaching maturity and gives birth to one male and one female rabbit. Assuming the rabbits never die;

Now, this is the question; how many rabbits will there be after a specific duration?

وَهُوَ الَّذِي مَدَّ الْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنْهَارًا وَمِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ جَعَلَ فِيهَا زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ- آیه 3 سوره رعد

And it is He who spread the earth and placed therein firmly set mountains and rivers, and from all of the fruits He made therein two mates; He causes the night to cover the day. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

And then pointing out duality or rather pairs (In the number sequence, each number is, in fact, the number of pairs that answer Fibonacci’s question. Refer to About Fibonacci)
And then pointing out the day and night cycle which is a precise hint about time

Did Fibonacci know about Quran?
We do not know but it is quite unlikely!
Does the Ayah introduce the Fibonacci’s sequence?
No!

But an intellectual knows that the universe follows laws and patterns that must have been set in place by an omnipotent maker; a maker is omniscient and humans strive to discover the wisdom and beauty hidden within the universe.
After introducing the famous Fibonacci sequence, this architecture and algorithm have been witnessed within countless places in nature. For instance, it has been discovered in snails’ shells as well as the growth of tree leaves which bear similarities to the Fibonacci sequences and the Golden Ratio. This structure helps tree leaves absorb more light from the sun and sunflower seeds grow. According to research, the ratio of the diameter of each spiral to the next is 1.618. The Golden Ratio and Fibonacci sequence can be observed in the structure of the human body, flower petal counts, pine fruits, galaxies, and more; as such, it is also known as the Divine Ratio. It is not only prevalent in nature but also in the works of many ancient artists, architects, and mathematicians. We have pointed out the importance of math in other sections. Fibonacci believed that math is one of the basic fields of science that holds the key to discovering the mysteries of nature and of course, religion at the very least is a source of inspiration and upbringing for an intellectual; from cradle to grave.
